Reliance Retail Ventures is set to acquire the Superdry brand and related trademarks in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh for £40 million. The deal will strengthen Reliance Retail's association with Superdry, which began in 2012 when Reliance gained the India franchise rights. Superdry will retain a 24% stake in the separate vehicle that will own the intellectual property assets, with Reliance holding the remaining 76%.
