Automobile retail sales saw a significant 21% increase last month, reaching 18.8 lakh units, primarily driven by festive demand. Two-wheeler sales, three-wheeler sales, and passenger vehicle sales all experienced robust growth of 21%, 45%, and 18%, respectively, on a year-on-year basis. However, tractor retail sales declined by 10%. New product launches and promotional offers contributed to the growth, especially in rural areas. Commercial vehicle registrations also saw a 5% YoY increase.
