Goyal expressed his delight in seeing Indian professionals contributing to Tesla's journey and the growing importance of Indian auto component suppliers in Tesla's supply chain. The government has been engaged with Tesla for some time, and the company's interest in India has increased. Tesla's sourcing from India could rise from $1 billion last year.
