Small-cap schemes recorded a net outflow of Rs 97 crore in March, data released by industry body Amfi showed. Markets regulator Sebi's warning that there could be some 'froth' building in small and medium-cap stocks seems to have prompted investors to shift part of their money to other equity-oriented ones.
