WhatsApp ups video-call user limit to 8 from 4

Popular messaging application WhatsApp is doubling the number of callers that can participate in group video conversations to eight people from the existing four as the communication mode sees a significant uptake across the world during lockdowns. The update is already available to some customers, with a broader rollout expected in 1-2 weeks, said a source briefed on the matter. ​
