A group of Jet Airways’ senior staffers, including the unions of the airline’s aircraft engineers and of Indian pilots, has requested SBI-led lenders to allow a consortium of employees to bid for the carrier. In a memorandum, Jet staffers have also written that they are confident of securing an investment commitment of up to Rs 3,000 cr from outside investors.
