Adani, GMR, L&T in race for Rs 23,000 crore UP smart meter tender

Adani Group, GMR, L&T and IntelliSmart — a joint venture of National Investment and Infrastructure Fund and power ministry’s energy saving company EESL — are in race for the largest smart meter tender worth Rs 23,000 crore floated by UP. The tender is for installing about 2.8 crore smart meters as well as setting up meter data management, cloud computing, billing and communication systems for the state’s four distribution companies.
