Apple condemns Pegasus spyware attack; says adding ‘new protections’

In wake of the Pegasus spyware attack by Israel’s NSO Group, American smartphone giant Apple condemned the sophisticated cyber hacks on journalists, human rights activists, politicians and others, and said that the company continues to “work tirelessly to defend all our customers”.
