Over half of FY21 Covid mediclaims in just 6 weeks

Health insurance claims due to Covid-19 reported in the first six weeks of FY22 are 57% of the claims reported for the whole of FY21. Non-life insurance companies are seeing a sharp spike in claims and say that this could have a balance sheet impact if the trend continues.​
