The German luxury carmaker, which entered India around 2007, has been in the middle of a slowdown even as compatriots Mercedes-Benz and BMW have sailed past it, and are witnessing growth. Audi, which once was the top luxury seller in the country (it’s now Mercedes), has seen its volumes slip to 6,463 units in 2018, a far cry from 11,192 units it sold at its peak in 2015.
